About the Role

We are seeking a talented Print Designer to join our team in an energizing, inclusive, and creative environment focused on concepting and creating sustainable products that exceed customers' expectations. As a key member of our cross-functional team, you will be responsible for partnering with colleagues to ensure that our printed pattern designs are of the highest quality and meet market trends and brand strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the conceptual development of seasonal print direction and ensure product consistency with market trends and brand strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to research and conceptualize print direction, gathering inspiration from various sources to inform aesthetic trends.
  • Design and create artwork, including painting, digital, and cleaning of purchased artworks.
  • Ensure artwork and print direction align with market trends and business strategy, driving innovation and newness.
  • Present design concepts to the team at milestone meetings.
  • Work with the Concept and Apparel Design teams to develop colorways of prints and communicate revisions as needed.
  • Create and maintain seasonal color palettes.
  • Assist in building presentation boards and materials.
  • Review production submissions with cross-functional teams to ensure aesthetic and execution meet aligned standards.
Requirements
  • College degree in Textile/Fashion Design, Graphic Design, or related field.
  • 2-4 years of design experience, preferably in print design.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in NED Graphics Programs and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong knowledge of CAD systems, software, printers, and spectra flow plotters.
  • Strong hand skills, including illustration, painting, drawing, and digital art skills.
  • Excellent design and color sense, with ability to match colors and create colorways.
  • Solid understanding of the design process and technical knowledge of print processes, including sublimation and rotary printing.
  • Trend forecasting skills, with ability to research markets and identify new print trends, colors, and fabrics.
