Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Utah Cancer Specialists. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing ordered examinations of patients to assist in the diagnosis of patient illness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform ordered examinations of appropriate anatomical regions in accordance with accepted standards of practice and protocols.
  • Prepare and administer PRRT treatments and other radiopharmaceutical treatments.
  • Maintain technical competency through continued education and participation in company-sponsored training programs.
  • Administer contrast agents and/or radiopharmaceuticals according to site-specific protocols.
  • Complete and sign the Patient Screening form and review/explain the procedure to the patient.
  • Perform equipment quality checks and troubleshoot problems.
  • Maintain a clean environment inside and outside of injection and scan rooms.
  • Complete necessary administrative tasks, including time reports, billing, and QA.
  • Follow quality assurance guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality.
  • Cooperate with facility healthcare professionals and comply with facility policies/procedures.
  • Comply with all safety policies and regulations, including radiation safety.
  • Maintain current licensure and permits to practice.
Requirements
  • A.R.R.T. (N) and/or NMTCB and State License are required.
  • A minimum of one year of prior nuclear medicine experience is required.
  • Must be proficient in starting IVs.
  • PET/CT experience is preferred.

Monday to Friday, day shift.
