Diagnostic Imaging Specialist Full Time Afternoons

At Corewell Health, we are committed to providing exceptional patient care and advancing the field of diagnostic imaging. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our patients receive accurate and timely diagnoses. Your expertise will be essential in operating and maintaining our state-of-the-art imaging equipment, as well as interpreting images and providing recommendations for further testing or treatment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including CT scanners, MRI machines, and X-ray machines
  • Interpret images and provide recommendations for further testing or treatment
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
  • Provide exceptional patient care and communication, ensuring that patients understand their diagnoses and treatment options
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques, and participate in ongoing education and training
Requirements:
  • Graduate of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited radiography program
  • Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in radiography
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
