Job Summary:

Bios Companies is seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our home health care team. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to individuals in their homes, working under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide skilled nursing patient care or service within the established plan of treatment.
  • Adhere to the standards of nursing care and the policies and procedures of the agency and health services department.
  • Record and appropriately report all observed symptoms, reactions, treatments, and changes in the individual's condition to the supervising RN.
  • Confer with other healthcare services and residential team members and participate in team meetings to facilitate coordination of the individual's care.
  • Record and observe medical conditions accurately, concisely, and consistent with the plan of care.
  • Maintain individual confidentiality at all times.
  • Implement planned interventions to meet physical, psychological, and social/environmental needs.
  • Participate in education and in-service programs related to new treatments, procedures, developmental skills, etc.
  • Perform all duties in compliance with agency policies and procedures, including agency infection control policies and agency safety policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to licensure requirements, rules, and regulations as outlined in the Nurse Practice Act, and state, federal, and local laws and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Licensed as a vocational nurse under the laws of the State of Oklahoma.
  • Current license.
  • TB test or chest X-Ray demonstrating negative results.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Vaccinated.
