About the Role

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of technical procedures that require a high degree of independent judgment and initiative in the utilization of radionuclides for the diagnosis and therapy of disease in humans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional patient care and ensure proper identification and preparation for procedures.
  • Operate and maintain auxiliary equipment necessary for procedures, including imaging and computer systems.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care.
  • Administer radionuclides and medications as directed by departmental protocols and physician orders.
  • Process and evaluate computer-generated data to ensure accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
  • Maintain sterile technique and ensure patient safety during procedures.
Requirements
  • Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (ARRT(N) or NMTCB registry)
  • 1-year experience in nuclear medicine
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in database management
  • Mathematical skills and knowledge of physics and chemistry
