About the RoleAs a Primary Care Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for assisting in the evaluation and treatment of patients, documenting patient care in medical records, and conducting patient interviews and documenting patient histories.
Responsibilities- Evaluate and treat patients under the direction of a physician
- Document patient care in medical records
- Conduct patient interviews and document patient histories
- Perform physical examinations and specialized diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program or Physician Assistant program
- Currently licensed as an advanced practice nurse in the state of Georgia by the Georgia Board of Nursing and certified as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or equivalent body, or Certified as a Physician's Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- Licensed as appropriate in the state of Georgia
- American Heart Association BLS and Healthcare Provider certifications required
- Base Salary range: $102,000 to $128,000 per year depending upon years of experience as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
- Primary Care APP's are eligible to participate in additional productivity bonus
- Position is eligible for annual APP incentive plan
- Student Loan Repayment Assistance & Reimbursement Programs
