Role Summary:
The Material Control Specialist is responsible for the accurate receipt and documentation of incoming materials. This role is crucial in ensuring that all products are received correctly and efficiently, contributing to our overarching goal of operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently manage the receipt of incoming inventory.
- Verify the accuracy of received products against packing lists and collaborate with relevant teams to resolve discrepancies.
- Document any non-conformances and ensure they are recorded in the appropriate systems.
- Navigate and utilize internal systems effectively for inventory management.
- Address and escalate issues as necessary, ensuring proper resolution.
- Ensure all parts are accurately labeled with the correct quantities and part numbers.
- Facilitate a seamless transition of materials to inventory.
- Complete end-of-day reporting and maintain organized records.
- Be prepared for occasional overtime as required by operational needs.
Qualifications:
- Must be classified as a "Lawful U.S. Person" as defined by ITAR regulations.
- Onsite presence is mandatory; this position does not offer remote work options.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an Active DoD Secret Clearance.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience is preferred.
- Proficient in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- Able to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Experience with receiving throughput and non-conformance reporting is advantageous.
