Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Provider Services Coordinator to join our team at Physicians Practice Enhancement LLC. This role is responsible for processing candidates and working with Medical Staff Offices to ensure compliance with Joint Commission regulations and Medical Staff Office procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with recruiters and Clinical Services staff to identify staffing needs and priorities.
  • Handle all aspects of new business start-ups, including sending offer letters and contracts to providers.
  • Process newly identified candidates by preparing applications and related paperwork.
  • Review and verify candidate information in our physician database.
  • Liaise with insurance credentialing staff to ensure necessary paperwork is completed.
  • Follow up with Medical Staff Offices to assist in the credentialing process.
  • Order scrubs and prescription pads for new practitioners as needed.
  • Provide 24-hour emergency phone coverage for hospital sites.
  • Review payroll at month end before processing.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with client hospitals and internal colleagues.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree and/or 2-3 years of hospital credentialing experience required.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Access.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with ability to multi-task and prioritize.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to take on new projects as needed.
  • Reports to Supervisor of Client Services.
