Job Description:

Position Overview:

The role involves conducting sophisticated engineering tasks related to the design, assessment, planning, testing, and operation of electrical, electromechanical, and/or computer systems for various applications including commercial, governmental, military, and scientific sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate customer locations to ensure adherence to specified regulations.
  • Conduct a variety of tests, analyze outcomes, and document findings.
  • Develop and implement research and development strategies.
  • Draft, review, and update technical documentation as necessary.
  • Modify methods, designs, or equipment as required.
  • Engage in special projects as needed.
  • Stay informed about relevant technological advancements.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
  • Lead technical teams or tasks without direct personnel management responsibilities.
  • Fulfill additional duties as assigned.
  • Ensure customer equipment is maintained according to manufacturer specifications and client instructions.
  • Prepare assessments of existing threats and trends based on intelligence data analysis.

Required Qualifications:

  • Completion of the TSCM Fundamentals Course at the Interagency Training Center (ITC).
  • Physical capability to carry and lift equipment weighing up to 75 pounds during travel and evaluations.
  • Willingness to travel 25-50% of the time.
  • Experience in conducting site surveys and inspections to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in maintaining records within customer applications and databases.
  • Ability to create Site Survey Reports and manage task approvals and closures.
  • Proficiency in drafting detailed reports on technical assessments.
  • Experience in managing multiple projects and heavy workloads.
  • Experience in conducting ad hoc testing and preparing comprehensive technical reports.
  • 10 + years of relevant countermeasures engineering experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Compensation:

The anticipated salary range for this position is $134,597 - $178,250, dependent on experience, geographic location, and contractual requirements.
