Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality healthcare to our patients, adhering to our organization's policies and mission.

Essential Duties
  • Deliver primary medical care aligned with your medical specialty
  • Develop individualized care plans incorporating medical history, physical examinations, diagnoses, and treatments/referrals
  • Leverage available diagnostic tools, such as laboratory tests, to inform treatment decisions
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care
  • Maintain accurate electronic health records and perform necessary charting and follow-ups
  • Engage in continuous learning and professional development to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements
  • Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy degree from an accredited medical school
  • Completion of an approved internal medicine residency program
  • Valid license to practice medicine in the State of Connecticut
  • Commitment to serving on the active medical staff of affiliated hospitals
  • Basic Life Support certification
  • Bilingualism in Spanish and English is desirable
  • Prior experience in ambulatory or outpatient settings preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Desirable: Experience or training in geriatric medicine

Estimated Annual Salary: $187,500
