Key Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the EP Lab Supervisor and the CV Services Director, the EP Technician will assist with diagnostic and therapeutic invasive electrophysiology procedures, including cardiac device implantation. Responsibilities include:

  • Applying knowledge of radiographic imaging and 3D cardiac mapping during procedures.
  • Maintaining sterile techniques throughout all processes.
  • Collecting and analyzing data for performance improvement.
  • Assisting with additional tasks as assigned to ensure departmental efficiency.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

  • A degree from a Cardiovascular Technology or Radiographic Technology program, or equivalent education and clinical experience.
  • Current BLS certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
  • ACLS certification within six months of hire.
  • Preferred RCES certification.
  • Experience in a cardiovascular setting with proficiency in arrhythmia interpretation.
