Job Description

This position is responsible for providing direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential setting. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Support: Assist clients with daily living tasks, including personal care, household chores, and meal preparation.
  • Transportation and Accompaniment: Safely transport clients to appointments, activities, and outings, ensuring their well-being and comfort.
  • Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client progress, incidents, and interactions, adhering to regulatory requirements and agency policies.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education and Experience: A high school diploma or equivalent, plus two+ years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, or relevant coursework and training.
  • Skillset: Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively; basic math skills; attention to detail; and strong organizational and time management skills.
