About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Management Support Technician to join our team at Wake County Public Schools. This role is responsible for providing technical support and assistance in maintaining the facilities of our schools.

Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year, based on experience.

Job Description

The Facilities Management Support Technician will serve as the primary point of contact for facilities-related inquiries and issues. The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Respond to facilities-related inquiries and issues from WCPSS sites.
  2. Assist with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to facilities management.
  3. Provide support in creating and managing service requests/work orders.
  4. Conduct site visits to assess facilities needs and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both in oral and written form using a variety of communication techniques and tools.
