The selected candidate will serve as a wine production associate within a facility dedicated to bottling and repackaging, which specializes in importing wines and has recently begun its own production. Key responsibilities encompass executing fundamental cellar operations such as receiving wine, topping off tanks, making necessary additions, cleaning tanks, incorporating concentrates, and more. The role also requires upholding excellent cleanliness standards, sanitizing equipment and tanks, operating essential machinery like wine pumps and bottling equipment, assisting with wine transfers, barrel management, and filter maintenance.
Essential Skills
- Cellar Expertise - Minimum of 2 years of experience in cellar operations.
- Bottling Proficiency - At least 2 years of experience in bottling processes.
- Sanitation Knowledge - A minimum of 2 years of experience in sanitation practices.
Employment Type
This position is classified as Contract-to-Hire, with an expected duration of 4 months.
Work Environment
This role is entirely on-site. The working hours are structured from Monday to Thursday, 12 PM to 10:30 PM, following a 4/10 schedule, with frequent opportunities for overtime. Fridays typically involve an 8-10 hour shift. The workplace is predominantly Spanish-speaking, although the ability to read English is necessary. The clean warehouse setting features a moderate to high noise level without strong odors. The facility is equipped with bottling and repackaging machinery, and the team consists of approximately 15 employees in a fast-paced, wet, and cool environment. Steel-toed footwear is mandatory.
