We are seeking a highly skilled and empathetic Childcare Support Specialist to join our team at The Learning Experience - Corporate Childcare Centers. As an Assistant Teacher, you will work closely with teachers to create a warm and inclusive environment for young children to learn and thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement engaging activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional growth in children
- Support teachers in adapting the L.E.A.P. Curriculum to meet the unique needs of Infants, Toddlers, and Preschool children
- Ensure a safe and healthy environment by maintaining accurate records of medications, allergies, and emergency procedures
- Build strong relationships with families through regular communication and collaboration
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; ECE coursework preferred
- At least 18 years of age; prior experience in childcare or a passion for early childhood education is preferred
- State-specific guidelines must be met, including performance level, immunizations, employment physicals, and required health and safety training
