About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist/Clinical Fellow to join our team at Family of Kidz. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with children and their families in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement individualized and group therapeutic interventions for children with communication disorders.
  • Administer and interpret speech and language evaluations to identify areas of strength and weakness.
  • Collaborate with lead supervisors, coordinators, and other professionals to ensure effective case management and communication.
  • Maintain accurate and timely attendance and billing records.
  • Develop and implement schedules for individual families and school personnel.
  • Collect and report data on progress towards IFSP/IEP goals.
  • Participate in initial CPSE/CSE meetings and annual reviews.
Evaluation Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations in clinic, home, and preschool settings.
  • Write detailed speech and language evaluation reports.
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and the evaluation team to develop functional goals.

Requirements
  • NYS Licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • NYSED Certifications: TSSLD or TSHH.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
  • Minimum of one year of experience working in a setting focused on supporting children and their families.
  • Bilingualism is a plus.
