Additionally, the specialist will oversee the assignment of caregivers to client service hours, ensuring that shifts are filled with caregivers whose skills align with client needs, while effectively communicating any new assignments or scheduling adjustments to both caregivers and clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

(RECRUITMENT)

  • Proactively recruit caregivers to sustain a pool of qualified and available personnel.

This may involve:
o Crafting and publishing job advertisements online.

o Identifying potential candidates through resume databases and social media platforms.

o Participating in or organizing job fairs.

o Advocating for the agency's employee referral program among current caregivers.

  • Manage application processing.
  • Conduct pre-screening and in-person interviews with prospective candidates.

(SCHEDULING)

  • Coordinate client shifts with qualified caregivers whose expertise and availability align with client service requirements.
  • Relay new assignments and/or scheduling modifications to caregivers and clients.
  • Maintain precise schedules for clients.
  • Regularly audit completed shift logs, addressing any discrepancies from the originally scheduled hours.
  • Monitor instances of missed or late clock-ins and promptly contact the scheduled caregiver to confirm their arrival at the client's location.
  • Track caregiver hours for potential overtime; alert management if additional hours are necessary.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a strong customer service focus and the ability to engage effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Outstanding organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in various computer programs and technologies.
  • Able to demonstrate initiative, problem-solving skills, and sound judgment.
  • Capable of working under pressure and managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Must have a valid Level 2 background screening.

Compensation:
$17.00 per hour
