Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate individual to work with our team as a Youth Advocate. As a Youth Advocate, you will provide direct advocacy services to assigned participants and their families, utilizing a strength-based approach and the wrap-around model.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Initiate, organize, plan, develop, and implement direct advocacy services to assigned participants and their families.
  • Develop and implement service plans based on a strength-based approach using the wrap-around model.
  • Provide support and guidance to participants and their families, promoting independence and self-advocacy.
  • Collaborate with community resources and agencies to ensure comprehensive support for participants.
Requirements:
  • A minimum High School Diploma or GED is required; an Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be extremely organized and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be professional, flexible, and able to work independently.
  • Must be available evenings and weekends.
  • Experience in community work and knowledge of community resources is an asset.
