Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner PRN

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Concentra. As an Occupational Medicine Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients and contributing to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Examine patients, compile medical data, and interpret diagnostic test results to provide accurate diagnoses and develop effective treatment plans.
- Administer or order diagnostic tests, such as x-rays, electrocardiograms, and laboratory tests, to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
- Develop and implement patient management plans, record progress notes, and assist in the provision of continuity of care.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and revision of policies affecting medical practice and quality of occupational health care.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, clients, and peers while incorporating Concentra's values.
- Ensure accuracy when completing and executing tasks, performing quality assurance checks, and documenting results and paperwork.
- Manage time, prioritize, and multitask in a busy environment to deliver quality care and meet business needs.
- Bachelor's degree in a related health field from an accredited college or university.
- Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies or Nurse Practitioner program from an accredited institution.
- Current licensed physician assistant or nurse practitioner in the state where employed and in accordance with state laws of practice.
- Must maintain work state physician assistant or nurse practitioner licensure throughout the course of employment.
- At least one year of demonstrated experience in occupational medicine, urgent care, or an emergency setting.

- Ability to make decisions or solve problems using logic and propose quality solutions.
- Outstanding customer service skills and ability to deal with people in a tactful and professional manner.
- Demonstrated knowledge of occupational medicine requirements, clinical operations, and laws and regulations governing delivery of rehabilitation services.
