Key Responsibilities:
Network Management:
- Manage and configure Microsoft Domain Services, DNS, and DHCP servers.
- Deploy and manage virtual machines using Dell VxRail, VMware, and Hyper-V.
- Configure and maintain cloud infrastructure, including Office 365 on Azure.
Network Security:
- Implement network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
- Design and implement backup and disaster recovery plans to ensure data integrity and availability.
Hardware and Software Maintenance:
- Diagnose and repair hardware issues on desktops, laptops, printers, copiers, and servers.
- Provide cell phone support for company-issued iPhones.
- Maintain and support the Avaya Merlin Magix phone system.
Help Desk Support:
- Provide tier 1 and tier 2 technical support, resolving a wide range of user issues promptly and effectively.
Windows Systems Management:
- Configure and optimize Windows 10 and 11 operating systems on desktops and laptops.
- Install and update essential software applications, including Microsoft Office 365 and antivirus programs.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
- Integrate Windows devices into corporate networks, ensuring seamless connectivity with printers, servers, and other network resources.
- Provide technical support and training to users on Windows features.
ISC Systems Management:
- Manage Cisco Meraki dashboard, firewall, switches, access points, and cameras.
- Handle Ubiquiti UniFi Wi-Fi Building Bridges.
- Manage Dell VxRail HCI System Software servers with VMware and Microsoft Servers 2012R2, 2019, and 2023.
- Administer Microsoft File & Print server, users, and company data.
- Administer and manage Microsoft Office 365 environments.
- Apply software updates and manage user access for various applications, including Steel Projects PLM 2024, Structural Material Manager, Aptean Made2Manage ERP, and The SMS Group Shop Floor Data Collection.
- Support Honeywell data collection devices.
- Manage backup services using Unitrends/Kaseya and Commvault Cloud SaaS.
- Implement virus protection using ArmorPoint, Cybereason, and TrendMicro.
Other Applications:
- Experience with Adobe Acrobat, Maxxess Systems (eAXxess software), AxTraxNG Access Control System Software, AutoDesk (AutoCad, Fusion, Inventor), Hypertherm Pronest, and BlueBeam.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant network systems certifications or an associate’s degree may be considered.
- Proficiency in managing and configuring network systems and security measures.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide effective user support.
- Lifting capabilities - must be able to lift more than 50 lbs.
Preferred Experience:
- A minimum of two years of experience with virtualization technologies, cloud services, and network security.
- Familiarity with hardware maintenance and help desk support.
- Knowledge of ISC systems Microsoft networks and various software applications.
