Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Registered Nurse to join our team at AMN Healthcare. The successful candidate will provide exceptional care for critically ill infants, children, and teenagers in the pediatric intensive care unit.

About the Role
  • Provide medications, intravenous fluids, and artificial nutrition as prescribed by physicians
  • Collaborate with families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to determine the best course of patient care and recovery

The PICU is an area within a hospital specializing in the care of critically ill infants, children, and teenagers. As a PICU RN, you will work in this high-stakes environment, providing critical care to patients who require constant monitoring.

Education and Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
  • Active state license as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications preferred
