As a Pharmacy Operations Senior Leader within the Cedars-Sinai Medical Network, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction and oversight for all pharmacy operations. This includes managing staffing, evaluating personnel performance, ensuring productivity, and maintaining patient safety standards. You will play a key role in enhancing quality improvement initiatives and overseeing budget management.

Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Coordinating and supervising pharmacy staff to deliver safe and effective medication therapies.
  • Developing and implementing process improvement strategies aimed at reducing medication costs and minimizing waste.
  • Ensuring appropriate reimbursement and enhancing operational efficiency.
  • Promoting clinically appropriate drug utilization across the organization.
  • Conducting financial analysis and managing departmental revenue and budgets.

Qualifications

Educational Background
  • Doctor of Pharmacy Degree (Pharm.D.)
Licensure and Certification Requirements
  • Active California Pharmacist license is mandatory.
  • Completion of a postgraduate residency or fellowship training, preferably in ambulatory or primary care.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) approved program must be obtained during the probationary period.
Experience Requirements
  • A minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in ambulatory or primary care pharmacy management, or completion of a relevant postgraduate residency or fellowship.
