Position Overview

The individual in this role will be tasked with providing specialized tutoring in advanced principles of physiology and pathophysiology. This will involve conducting small group sessions for students who require additional support, as well as offering thorough class previews to clarify student inquiries prior to examinations. The position necessitates the creation of tailored teaching strategies in collaboration with the Course Coordinator.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science degree
  • Active nursing license
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
  • Proven experience in promoting and maintaining a diverse educational environment or a commitment to do so as part of the Commonwealth of Virginia team
Preferred Qualifications
  • Completion of at least 30 credit hours in nurse anesthesia coursework
