Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Licensed Vocational Nurse Trainee. As a trainee, you will be responsible for attending an accredited LVN program, meeting all requirements to graduate as a Graduate Vocational Nurse (GVN), and passing the LVN board examiners within 75 days of getting the authorization to test.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Attend scheduled classes and clinicals in the LVN program
  • Provide semester schedule and monthly attendance reports to the State Supported Living Center CNE or designee
  • Attend regular check-ins with the CNE or designee to discuss progress and address any issues
  • Comply with directives received from the CNE or designee during the course of study
Requirements:
  • Ability to attend LVN program as scheduled
  • Ability to pass LVN program and graduate at the end of required courses
  • Ability to pass LVN board examiners within 75 days of getting the authorization to test
What We Offer:

As a Licensed Vocational Nurse Trainee, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience and skills in the field of nursing. You will also be eligible for the Nurse Stipend Agreement, which requires you to work 2 months as a LVN employee for each month in the LVN trainee program.
