Resident Caregiver

Caregiver Full Time, Part Time and PRN all shifts. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Resident Assistant Weekend Caregiver. As a key member of our care team, you will provide high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Job SummaryThe Resident Assistant/Care Aide delivers quality assisted living services focused on maximizing residents' individual capabilities in accordance with all laws, regulations, and Century Park standards. This role requires a high level of independence, patience, and tact, with the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
Responsibilities- Assist residents with activities of daily living, such as dressing, toileting, hair care, and bathing
- Read and respond to 24-hour logs at the beginning of each shift
- Makes routine rounds to ensure care needs are being met and residents are comfortable
- Assist residents with ambulation and use of walkers, canes, wheelchairs, and other mobility aids
- Encourage residents to participate in activities and engage in meaningful conversations
- Prepare residents for activities, meals, appointments, and other events
- Deliver meals and assist with set up or feeding as needed
- Verify residents are present for meals and check on those not attending unless notified otherwise
- Report all changes in resident conditions to the Nurse, Resident Care Director, or Executive Director
- Welcome new residents and assist with their adjustment to the community
- Assist residents with packing and unpacking, storing, labeling, and inventorying belongings upon move-in
- Compliant with infection control guidelines
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- One (1) year experience in senior services preferred
- Must have State Trained Nursing Assistant certification (if required by State)
- CNA certification or Home Health Aide certification preferred
- Must have CPR certification upon hire or obtain during Orientation
