Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver concrete to customers in a timely and customer-focused manner.
  • Work with customers on site to achieve maximum customer satisfaction.
  • Visually inspect concrete mix for correct slump and constituents.
  • Work closely with the dispatch team to ensure the quickest and safest route to jobs.
  • Maintain superior public relations in the performance of duties.
  • Observe all safety precautions and rules/laws specified by site, city, state, federal, and Company regulations and policies.
  • Maintain vehicle in a clean, organized, and safe fashion.
Requirements
  • Current Commercial Class B driver's license with airbrakes. We offer a veteran-sponsored CDL program for those who qualify.
  • Safe driving record with no serious moving violations within the past 36 months.
  • Ability to read a map and understand verbal and GPS driving route instructions.
  • Proven communication and problem-solving skills while working with customers.
  • Good attendance and punctuality are essential.
  • Possess a solid knowledge of local and state transportation regulations.
  • Display or have some mechanical aptitude for minor preventative maintenance and pre-shift inspections.
  • Must have the initiative to work independently and be a team player.
  • Ability to work in extremes of hot and cold weather.
  • Must have the physical ability to climb, stoop, bend, squat, frequently lift extension chutes (up to 60 lbs.), stretch, drive/sit, and shift gears.
  • Must be able to work flexible schedule with flexible hours, hours vary; overtime work, weekends, and nights may be required.

Conditions of Employment

  • Role operations primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
