Job Overview

Cayuga Nation of Indians is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Slot Attendant/Cage Cashier to join our team at LakeSide Entertainment. As a key member of our gaming team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our gaming machines and providing exceptional customer service to our patrons.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on gaming machines, including paper handling and minor repairs.
  • Monitor the operation of gaming machines and participate in payout of manual jackpots in accordance with policy.
  • Complete written department forms to document cash transactions and maintain accurate records.
  • Ensure the security of company assets, including cash and vouchers.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, including assisting guests with transactions and answering questions about gaming operations.
  • Work independently with minimal direction and maintain a high level of productivity.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must have at least 1 year of experience handling large sums of cash and providing customer service.
  • Must be able to obtain a gaming license (no felony convictions) and have a valid Driver's License.
  • Must have reliable transportation and be able to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to remain on feet for 6+ hours and lift approximately 40 pounds.

General Shifts:

  • Sunday - Thursday 7:00 AM-3:00 PM/3:00 PM-11:00 PM/10:00PM-6:00AM
  • Friday & Saturday 7:00 AM-4:00 PM and 4:00 PM-1:00 AM/10:00PM-6:00AM
  • Rotating overnight shifts required

Education:

  • High school or equivalent OR currently enrolled in equivalent program at time of hire.

Experience:

  • Customer service: 1 year (required)
