Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance of our facilities and equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all maintenance activities are performed in a safe and technically correct manner, while also providing leadership and direction to the internal maintenance team and external vendors and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all maintenance activities are performed in a safe and technically correct manner.
  • Maintain a fleet of equipment capable of serving the customers' changing needs.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the internal maintenance team and external vendors and suppliers.
  • Provide technical guidance for both corrective and preventative maintenance activities.
  • Ensure the correct tools and resources are available for the Maintenance team.
  • Manage short and long-term maintenance planning, and complete planned activities efficiently within budget.
  • Provide significant technical input and creation of scope of work for major repairs.
  • Assist maintenance workers and sub-contractors in performing diagnosis and troubleshooting.
  • Provide guidance and training to members of the maintenance crew.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of maintenance supervisory experience in a heavy mobile equipment, static processing plant, and/or gantry crane environment.
  • 3+ years of maintenance supervisory experience in a fast-paced customer-oriented service support environment.
  • 3+ years of maintenance supervisory experience in a steel mill, quarry, mining, rolling stock, major construction, or material processing environment.
  • Sound mechanical knowledge of medium and large wheel loaders, scraper tractors, gantry crane, and material processing plants.
