We are seeking a skilled Telemetry Registered Nurse to join our team at Mission Hospital Regional Medical Center. As a Telemetry Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our telemetry unit, working closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to patients in the telemetry unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, identifying and responding to life-threatening arrhythmias and other cardiac emergencies.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician, ensuring accurate and timely administration.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and optimize unit operations.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- California Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale Certificate - NIH Stroke Scale Training Course upon hire.
- One (1) year Nursing experience.
