CommonSpirit Health is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care to patients of all ages, from infants to the elderly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Emergency Triage and Patient Care: Utilize emergency triage protocol to intake, discharge, or admit patients, providing stabilizing care to patients of all ages as part of the larger ER team.
- Cultural Sensitivity: Use knowledge of cultural differences to provide patient care that is sensitive to and consistent with cultural values, beliefs, and customs.
- Documentation and Communication: Document the nursing care plan and changes in the patient's condition, engaging in effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives, such as patient experience initiatives and mentoring programs, to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing
- Licensure: RN License
- Experience: 1 year of acute care RN experience
- Certifications: BCLS within 14 days of start date, ACLS within 6 months of hire or transfer, PALS within 1 year after hire or transfer, NIHSS within 3 months of hire
