Your Role
As a Radiologic Imaging Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our patients receive high-quality and efficient care. Your responsibilities will include:
- Operating standard, portable, and specialized X-ray equipment to conduct routine and semi-complex radiographic examinations for diagnostic purposes.
- Developing and processing films for interpretation by a Radiologist.
- Ensuring the prompt transfer of images and documents to the PACS system, maintaining image quality and accurate patient data.
- Preparing examination rooms using aseptic techniques and cleaning equipment between patients.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you must be a graduate of an AMA-accredited program with a certificate or degree in Radiographic Technology. Adherence to ARRT guidelines, including obtaining 24 continuing education credits bi-annually, is required.
