Job Summary

The Radiologic Technologist is a key member of our team at Sano Health and Care, responsible for delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients. As a skilled professional, you will be responsible for accurately and safely performing radiologic exams as ordered by our providers. Your exceptional communication skills will enable you to effectively interact with patients, explaining procedures and directing them to proper positioning. In this demanding work environment, you must be highly organized and able to prioritize tasks efficiently. We are seeking a full-time candidate to work one day a week at our Parkville, MO clinic and the remainder of the time at our Overland Park, KS clinic.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform radiologic procedures as ordered by our providers
• Position patients for optimal views of the affected area
• Effectively communicate with patients during exams to answer questions and direct them to proper positioning
• Properly edit, crop, and annotate images
• Conduct quality checks on images
• Practice radiation safety
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Ensure patient privacy and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and company policies
• Perform additional administrative duties as assigned

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited school of Radiological Sciences
• Current ARRT license
• Licensed by the state of Kansas Board of Healing Arts (or must obtain upon hire)
• BLS certification (preferred)
