As an Assembler, you will play a crucial role in our team by assembling component parts for products according to established specifications, schedules, and standards of quality.
Responsibilities:- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, process sheets, and schematic drawings to ensure accurate assembly.
- Assemble component parts using a variety of hand and power tools, ensuring high-quality standards.
- Use inspection equipment to test and verify the quality of assembled parts.
- Fits, trims, aligns, and adjusts parts and components to ensure proper fitment.
- Attaches hardware and seals assembly to ensure durability and reliability.
- Solders, lugs, routes, and ties electrical components to ensure proper electrical connections.
- Calibrates units according to specifications to ensure accuracy and precision.
- Cleans and lubricates parts and assemblies to ensure smooth operation.
- Tests installed parts and accessories for leakage, continuity, and functionality.
- Performs inspections to ensure assemblies comply with applicable requirements.
- Crates, packs, and moves finished goods to ensure timely delivery.
- Reports lot codes of components used in assemblies and records assemblies built.
- Disassembles and replaces parts as required to ensure optimal performance.
- Reworks, repairs, or replaces faulty component parts to ensure quality standards.
- Enters information into established computer systems, production records, logs, time clock, and other forms.
- Maintains a clean and organized work area to ensure efficiency and productivity.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
- Experience in assembling electronic components, subassemblies, products, or systems is preferred.
- Ability to work with electrical, electro-mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems is essential.
- Strong reading and interpretation skills to read and understand blueprints, drawings, sketches, or written/verbal directions.
- Ability to assemble component parts using appropriate hand tools.
- Experience with striping truck set up functions and initial calibration is a plus.
- Ability to inspect and test completed component assemblies and diagnose malfunctions and make necessary adjustments.
