Advanced Practice Provider Inpatient Pulmonary Consultant

University Hospitals is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join our team in providing high-quality patient care in our inpatient pulmonary services. The ideal candidate will have experience in pulmonary, critical care, sleep, and respiratory therapy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform patient assessments and assign diagnoses based on recorded data and current scientific research.
- Establish and implement care plans in accordance with established protocols and standards of care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Order and perform routine diagnostic procedures.
- Develop and implement treatment plans.
- Monitor the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions.
- Contribute to the educational development of staff, patients, and self.
- Demonstrate progressive leadership and effective management.
- Provide education through role modeling and in-services to meet identified learning needs.
- Advance own professional development through self-directed learning and continuing education.
- Initiate and maintain positive relationships with patients and coworkers.
- Take responsibility for self-development and support a learning environment.
- Display commitment to the mission of University Hospitals and its values.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Comply with all policies and standards.
- Refer to documentation provided by the department during orientation for specific duties and responsibilities.
- Abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients.
