OD Grinder Operator

Job Summary:

As a skilled OD Grinder Operator at Greenleaf Corporation, you will be responsible for operating OD grinders and selected CNC machining equipment to produce machined carbide and ceramic cutting tips to precision tolerances. Your attention to detail and ability to maintain tooling and equipment will be crucial in ensuring the quality of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret router, blueprints, planning sheets, sketches, and related technical data to determine tooling requirements, set-up procedures, control settings, and machining methods and sequences.
Calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
Load media in machine controller or enter commands to retrieve preprogrammed instructions from database.
Calculate and set machine controls.
Mount, align, and secure tooling, attachments, and work piece. Select and install grinding wheels.
Start and monitor display and machine operation.
Verify dimensions of finished work pieces to specifications.
Visually inspect all parts for missing or incomplete operations.
Perform equipment maintenance.
