About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Retail Department Coordinator to join our team at TJ Maxx. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for promoting an exceptional customer experience, overseeing a team of Associates, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Experience: Create a positive and engaging experience for all customers, ensuring prompt and courteous service.
  • Team Leadership: Lead by example, train, and mentor Associates on front-end principles, personalizing the customer experience, and promoting loyalty programs.
  • Store Operations: Assign registers, support POS coverage needs, coordinate breaks, and ensure Associates execute tasks according to store plan.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with management and Associates, setting and addressing priorities, and providing progress updates.
  • Adaptability: Respond to changes in direction or unexpected situations, prioritizing tasks as needed.
Requirements
  • Availability: Available to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
  • Merchandising: Strong understanding of merchandising techniques.
  • Communication: Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Leadership: 1 year retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience.

We offer a competitive starting pay range of $15.35 to $15.85 per hour, as well as a range of benefits, including Associate discount, EAP, smoking cessation, bereavement, 401(k) Associate contributions, and more.
