As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying equipment sales and de novo opportunities within the veterinary marketplace and developing and managing a pipeline of de novo projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement a go-to-market strategy to optimize the adoption and engagement of equipment sales with independent account customers.
  • Proactively initiate contact with decision-makers within veterinary clinics, local offices, or corporate offices to identify and lead business development opportunities.
  • Manage the equipment sales process through the complete sales cycle, from lead generation and initial prospect contact to successful closing of deals and follow-up post-sales activities.
  • Collaborate with account managers and service operations to understand customer pain points, needs, and opportunities.
  • Provide product education, consulting services, and formulary recommendations to customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business or animal health science.
  • Minimum of 7+ years of relevant experience, with 5+ years in a quota-carrying sales role within animal health equipment.
  • Strong business acumen, executive presence, and ability to influence decision-makers related to large capital purchases.
  • Proficiency in computer technology, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook, and working knowledge of Access and AS-400 systems.
