Position Overview

As a Climate Control Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the comfort and safety of our guests at Sandpiper Bay Resort. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain, repair, and enhance HVAC systems and air quality solutions throughout the property.

Key Responsibilities

Safety and Compliance:

  • Promptly report any work-related incidents or injuries to your supervisor.
  • Adhere to safety protocols for the operation and storage of tools and equipment.
  • Identify and rectify unsafe working conditions and report them to management.
  • Follow all hazardous material management procedures, including proper handling and disposal of chemicals.

Guest Interaction:

  • Greet guests warmly and professionally, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Listen attentively to guest inquiries and address their needs effectively.
  • Anticipate service requirements and respond promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.

Technical Duties:

  • Conduct inspections, maintenance, and repairs on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Handle complex equipment, including chillers and air distribution systems.
  • Maintain an inventory of parts and supplies necessary for HVAC operations.
  • Implement a preventive maintenance schedule to ensure timely servicing of equipment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Capable of working in various physical conditions, including tight spaces and elevated platforms.
Qualifications

  • A minimum of two years of experience in HVAC maintenance, repair, or installation.
