We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Coastal Pediatric Associates.

About the Role:

As a Pediatric Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to infants, children, and teenagers. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Verifying the reason for patient visits and obtaining vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
  • Cleaning and sanitizing patient exam rooms and ensuring they are properly stocked with clinical supplies.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Coursework in healthcare (preferred).
  • Excellent customer service skills and a desire to work with infants and children.
  • Organizational skills with the ability to multitask and work well in a team-based environment.
  • Prior medical practice experience is preferred, but not required.
  • A working knowledge of computer applications and the ability to speak, read, and write effectively.
  • The ability to work independently without direct supervision and coordinate, analyze, observe, make decisions, and meet deadlines in a detail-oriented manner.
  • Flexible scheduling availability is required.
