About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Product Owner to join our Enterprise Technology team at Blue Origin. As a Technical Product Owner, you will play a critical role in driving the development of our digital infrastructure and ensuring that our products meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent the customer throughout the development process, advocating for their needs and ensuring their voice is heard.
  • Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to gather, refine, and document detailed product requirements.
  • Lead sprint planning sessions, set sprint goals, and ensure the development team is aligned with the scope and priorities.
  • Work closely with customers, software developers, UX designers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient product development and delivery.
  • Own and maintain the product backlog, ensuring it reflects the product vision, strategic priorities, and customer feedback.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience as a Product Owner, preferably in a technical environment with complex software products.
  • Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Lean, Agile, and Scrum methodologies.
  • Solid experience working with software engineering teams and ability to understand technical concepts.
  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills, with proven ability to leverage data in decision making and measure product performance using KPIs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues before they impact product delivery.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Aerospace software development processes and frameworks.
  • Experience with manufacturing/supply chain systems.
What We Offer

Blue Origin offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $132,210.00-$185,094.00, depending on location. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic and supplemental life insurance, paid parental leave, short and long-term disability, 401(k) with a company match of up to 5%, and an Education Support Program.

Paid Time Off: Up to four (4) weeks per year based on weekly scheduled hours, and up to 14 company-paid holidays. Discretionary bonus: Bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
