Job Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute Preventive Maintenance activities to ensure equipment availability in the customer plant.
  • Lead a team of skilled technicians in all Troubleshooting and minor repair activities.
  • Utilize work experience and knowledge of PLCs, CAN Bus or other diagnostic and programming tools to keep automated equipment running.
  • Monitor and control costs by effective scheduling of internal and external resources.
  • Attend customer production and planning meetings, per customer requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and advise the customer on the course of action.
  • Answer or return customer calls within a required time 24/7, assign technicians available at the plant, or come in after hours to help with emergency equipment breakdown repair.
  • E nsure Maintenance tasks are performed in a safe manner and be responsible for Maintenance team members' safety.
  • Perform skills assessment and develop cross-functional on-the-job and formal classroom training for Maintenance Technicians.
  • Effectively lead AIT on-site Maintenance team to provide excellent service to the customer.
  • Act as a face of AIT in the customer plant – ethical, competent, polite, willing, and able to generate new business opportunities by identifying problems within or outside the contracted scope of work and offering solutions to the customer.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED Required.
  • Minimum of a two-year technical degree.
  • CPMM Certification or a trade school apprenticeship are a plus.
  • Team Leadership and Management experience preferred.
  • Effectively works with CMMS (SAP, MAXIMO, e-Maintenance, etc.) to create work orders, set up maintenance schedules, manage spare parts, analyze data, generate reports for the customer.
