Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Support Coordinator to join our team at Yale New Haven Health. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our healthcare operations, ensuring seamless communication and efficient workflow.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all incoming and outgoing communication, including phone calls, emails, and messages, to ensure timely and effective response to patients, families, and staff.
  • Assist with scheduling and coordination of patient appointments, meetings, and other events.
  • Enter accurate and complete data into our electronic medical record (EMR) system, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
  • Support payroll processing, supply management, and other administrative tasks as needed.
  • Coordinate meetings, events, and other activities, ensuring smooth execution and minimal disruption to operations.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training programs, and other events, contributing to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum two years of experience in a healthcare environment, preferably in a support or administrative role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical record systems.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Scheduling and homecare experience a plus, but not required.
