Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Specialist to join our team in Salt Lake City. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring a continuous supply of materials to production lines, maintaining inventory, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure a continuous supply of materials to production lines by providing workstations with sufficient parts.
  • Use a checklist to ensure kit accuracy and maintain inventory of material received, stocked, and issued.
  • Receive materials from suppliers and ensure materials match physically and systematically.
  • Label materials and put away on pallets, organizing and storing materials until they are needed for production.
  • Provide immediate information on any material shortages or surpluses detected and collect and dispose of waste in accordance with environmental regulations.
  • Take inventory (PI) of stored items and may audit kits for accuracy.
  • Maintain training throughout the area and process updates and maintain certifications.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 9 months of manufacturing experience at Flex.
  • Ability to use a variety of manufacturing equipment and tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as electronic work instructions (EWI), safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information in small group situations and add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables and interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Ability to use and operate computers to achieve basic tasks and log in to and navigate Flex computer systems and access electronic work instructions.
  • Ability to speak and understand English and write and maintain routine reports, records, and correspondences.
