Position Overview:
This role offers a competitive hourly wage of $18 - $20, depending on experience, along with potential bonuses. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 6 pm, with shared on-call responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Maintenance Technician, your duties will include:

  • Performing preventative and repair maintenance for both interior and exterior areas of the community.
  • Addressing general maintenance requests, including HVAC, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, and appliance repairs.
  • Communicating effectively with residents, guests, and team members while adhering to safety standards.
  • Conducting community maintenance work, resident service requests, building inspections, and preventative maintenance.
  • Utilizing hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
  • Participating in apartment inspections for move-ins and move-outs.
  • Maintaining an inventory of personal tools necessary for task completion.
  • Performing on-call service requests and emergency calls as required.
  • Reporting community concerns to the Supervisor.
  • Completing additional tasks as assigned by community leadership.

Qualifications:
Professional Experience:
A minimum of one year of maintenance technician experience is required, with multifamily experience preferred. Familiarity with two or more trades such as electrical, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, or painting is advantageous.

Education:
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Candidates should be able to perform basic mathematical functions and hold an EPA Universal Certification and/or Certified Pool Operator (CPO) Certification, if applicable.

Physical Demands:
Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform various physical activities, including sitting, standing, walking, and climbing. Specific vision requirements include the ability to adjust focus and perceive depth.
