Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our team at Soliant Education. As a Special Education Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive support to students with diverse learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of students and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) to meet their unique needs.
  • Co-teach core subjects, such as English Language Arts and mathematics, to students in grades 9-10.
  • Teach life skills and general science to students, promoting their social, emotional, and academic growth.
  • Supervise a study hall and provide support to students during this time.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and other educators to ensure a collaborative approach to student support.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid teaching license in Special Education for the state of Nebraska.
  • At least 1+ year of experience in special education.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for working with students with diverse learning needs.

Compensation:

This is a full-time position with a competitive hourly rate of $40-45 per hour.
