General Responsibilities: Under general supervision, the custodial team is tasked with ensuring a clean and hygienic environment for both staff and visitors. This role is essential in promoting sanitary conditions that help prevent the spread of germs and unpleasant odors. Candidates should be self-motivated, efficient, and receptive to guidance.

Key Duties:

  1. Maintain the facility in a clean and infection-free state through washing, cleaning, and equipment replacement.
  2. Responsible for the proper disposal of waste materials.
  3. Adhere to protocols for using chemical cleaners and machinery to avoid damage to floors and fixtures.
  4. Clean building floors through sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
  5. Service, clean, and restock restroom facilities.
  6. Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaning solutions and tools.
  7. Perform additional related tasks as necessary.

Employment Requirements: Candidates must be able to lift heavy items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly, communicate effectively with team members, maintain a positive attitude while collaborating with others, and possess knowledge of workplace safety and procedures.

Physical Activity Requirements: To successfully fulfill the essential functions of this position, employees must be capable of performing various physical activities, including stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, climbing, crawling, walking, pulling, lifting, talking, listening, and repetitive motions.

Work Environment: Employees may work in varying temperatures and may occasionally be exposed to wet or humid conditions.
