Position: Quality Manager
Reporting To: VP of Operations


Role Summary: The Quality Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the daily quality assurance tasks for designated projects, ensuring that all construction activities adhere to the predetermined quality standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with the Architect to address project-related inquiries and challenges.
  • Collaborate with the Superintendent to guarantee proper storage of materials.
  • Verify the accuracy and condition of materials delivered to the job site.
  • Examine product data to ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications, safeguarding warranty eligibility.
  • Investigate common material issues.
  • Conduct weekly meetings with the Superintendent to assess project timelines.
  • Document and take minutes during Pre-Construction and Owner's Meetings.
  • Follow up with Subcontractors to ensure compliance with warranty requirements.
  • Oversee inspectors, technicians, subcontractors, laboratories, and testing processes on-site.
  • Assist the Superintendent in maintaining job site safety and cleanliness.
  • Support the Architect and Superintendent in coordinating the punch list.
  • Ensure that Subcontractor submissions align with specifications and plans.
  • Manage lead times and installation schedules, providing information to the Superintendent for project planning.
  • Communicate with Subcontractors regarding submissions, RFIs, scope modifications, extended lead times, and value engineering items.
  • Document RFIs for each project.
  • Maintain logs for drawings, meetings, project closeouts, delays, RFIs, submissions, punch lists, and as-built documentation.
  • Distribute essential documents, including RFIs, submissions, changes, updated drawings, and addendums to relevant project team members and Subcontractors.
  • Oversee warranty-related inquiries.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction sector is preferred.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of various construction materials, methods, and techniques.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Familiarity with RedTeam Construction Management Software.
  • Understanding of Gantt scheduling.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Work Schedule:
40 hours per week, Monday to Thursday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM; Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
