Virtual School Psychologist Position in New Hampshire: A Rewarding Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Virtual School Psychologist to join our team in New Hampshire. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting students' mental health and educational growth.
Job Responsibilities- Conduct thorough psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students' needs, developing tailored plans to address their requirements.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create individualized education plans (IEPs), ensuring a comprehensive approach to student support.
- Provide individual and group counseling to students, addressing emotional, social, and behavioral issues through empathetic and solution-focused approaches.
- Offer crisis intervention and support as needed, prioritizing students' well-being and safety.
- Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop strategies for improving classroom management and promoting positive behaviors.
- Foster open communication between the school, parents, and external mental health professionals, ensuring seamless collaboration and support.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing to student support plans and sharing expertise to drive positive outcomes.
- Design and deliver workshops and training sessions for staff and parents on topics such as child development, behavior management, and mental health awareness, enhancing knowledge and skills.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of student interactions and progress, upholding the highest standards of professionalism and data protection.
- A Master's, Education Specialist, or Doctorate degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Active New Hampshire teaching certification with a School Psychology endorsement is required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, educators, and administrators.
- Demonstrated understanding of child and adolescent development.
- Commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within the school community.
This is a 1099 position offering guaranteed weekly hours, with an hourly rate of $45-$55. The role is ideal for someone passionate about making a difference in the lives of students and excited about the possibilities of teletherapy.
