Job Title: Civil Engineer - Site Development Specialist

Parkhill is seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team in Midland, Texas. As a Site Development Specialist, you will be responsible for leading and expanding our team's expertise in site development projects.

About the Role:
  • Lead and manage a team of engineers and technicians in site development projects
  • Provide technical supervision and design capabilities in pavement, utilities, grading, site elements, and drainage
  • Develop and manage client relationships, including successful financial accounting and responsiveness
  • Familiarity with local zoning ordinances, subdivision regulations, and other design criteria
  • Manage in-house and external surveying support
  • Participate in community involvement and seek leadership roles in civic, technical, and professional organizations
  • Develop proposals, scopes, fees, and track performance
  • Maintain relationships with City departments
  • Present at hearings, Commissions, and Council meetings
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering required
  • Professional engineer registration in Texas
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in site development and related responsibilities
Desirable Experience:
  • Experience with plans production and management of tasks such as entitlements, site planning, grading, and drainage design
  • Experience with software including AutoCAD Civil 3D and ArcGIS
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills to interact effectively with clients, staff, municipal authorities, vendors, and contractors
