Key Responsibilities
  • Investment Accounting: Prepare monthly investment report packages for STAT, GAAP, IFRS, and other bases.
  • Statutory Reporting: Prepare statutory quarterly and annual Schedule D regulatory reports and GAAP financial and footnote packages.
  • Account Reconciliation: Perform daily account reconciliations with custodial and/or external manager records, including cash, trades, income, and dividends.
  • Client Communication: Communicate with clients and custodians to clarify and resolve discrepancies.
  • General Ledger Management: Understand and maintain the client's general ledger structure.
  • Process Improvement: Develop and implement efficient procedures to enhance accuracy and workflow.
  • Client Support: Respond to client inquiries, auditor queries, and special reporting requests promptly.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other team members to support department goals and objectives.
  • Performance Monitoring: Maintain monthly performance results of clients' portfolios.
Requirements
  • Education: BA/BS in Business with an emphasis in accounting required.
  • Experience: 3+ years of accounting experience with strong knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, statutory and regulatory reporting.
  • Skills: Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, strong computer skills, advanced experience with Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, macros, pivot tables, etc.), strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to multi-task and stay organized.
  • Desirable: Experience with SQL report writing.
